The Astronauts Memorial Foundation, a Space Coast organization that honors fallen astronauts and supports high-tech education, unveiled a collectible fundraising note at a numismatic convention in Orlando this week.

Themed after NASA's recent Artemis I mission that flew to the moon and back, the note made in partnership with Elite Coinage includes unique security features like countdown clock-inspired serial numbers, images visible only in ultraviolet light, and more. Slightly larger than a U.S. banknote, the AMF notes run from $75 to $150 and include holders.

Eighty percent of proceeds raised from note sales will go directly to the AMF. No more than 3,661 were made.

The front of the note features a countdown clock with the serial number, the AMF logo, American flag, and other elements like an Apollo command and service module. The rear showcases elements from November's Artemis I mission like the Space Launch System rocket, Orion capsule, moon, and more.

The notes are available online at elitecoinage.com/nasa/ or during this weekend's Florida United Numismatists convention in Orlando, which is being held at the Orange County Convention Center. The event, now in its 68th year, runs through Sunday and features thousands of coin and currency dealers, visitors, displays, and more.
