Forget the soaring house prices and sweaty Tube rides - London has earned our forgiveness as a restaurant in the capital has announced it will serve bottomless prosecco.

To celebrate the opening of the Night Tube, Japanese restaurant Yumi Izakaya has announced that it’ll serve bottomless prosecco and beers.

For £20, you can sit at the Shaftsbury Avenue spot for a couple of hours and drink to your heart’s content.

The restaurant will be open from midday ‘til 1am, seven days a week, and its name ‘izakaya’ translates quite literally into English as ‘the roof with alcohol’. So there’s really no excuse not to go.
