Athlete of the Week
Collins-Maxwell senior Ethan Haus is the Tri-County Times Athlete of the Week for Aug. 22-27.
Haus picked up the first cross country meet victory of his career at the Spartan Earlybird Invitational Aug. 25 at the Center Grove Orchard between Cambridge and Maxwell.
Haus completed the 5-kilometer course in 18 minutes, 12.1 seconds to defeat Ankeny Christian Academy's Daniel Schoening by over one minute for the victory. His win helped the Spartans bring home the boys' team championship.
