Atlanta employers are looking to hire 3,000 teens this summer

Employers across Atlanta are promising to hire 3,000 teens this summer.

Mayor Andre Dickens hosted a signing day as a way to prepare teens to enter the workforce.

There were representatives from the Department of Parks and Recreation, the Atlanta airport, Marta, AT&T and IKEA.

“The opportunities presented to youth range from camp counselors and activity leaders to entry-level apprenticeships and even dive operations interns with the aquarium,” said Dickens.
