Atlanta Science Festival Returns For The Curious And The Brave

ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta Science Festival returns next month for 2022 and fans of science (everyone should be) have much to be excited about.

There will be more than 100 interactive and educational to participate in, both online and in COVID-safe, in-person venues throughout the Metro Atlanta area March 12-26 for science enthusiasts of all ages.
“Now in our ninth year, the Atlanta Science Festival has become synonymous with engaging and accessible science exploration for all ages, while celebrating diversity and our city as a science hub,” says Meisa Salaita, executive co-director of Science ATL – the engineers of the Atlanta Science Festival.
Expect fun activities centered around topics like environmental science, earth and space, and animals to science and the arts, science and society, and health and the human body. Nature walks, creature encounters, hands-on experiments, science-themed performances, and much more will be packed into the two-week event calendar.

Most of the events are free, and those that aren’t will require a nominal fee to participate. Each in-person event will have venue-specific guidelines in place to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.

And the festival will culminate in Piedmont Park with the Exploration Expo on March 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., planned by organizers to be “Atlanta’s biggest family science event with interactive exhibits and live science demonstrations.
