Rubinstein said: “It’s been a remarkable journey and a true honor being a part of so many lives. What’s even better is watching them grow up into mature adults and going to college, getting married, having kids of their own, starting their own careers, and just basically living their lives to the fullest. It puts a huge smile on my face knowing I had something to do with their lives and impacted them positively in some way.”

He continued: “I also can’t thank my current and former players and their families enough, as well as my school administration and school staff over the years for putting their trust in me, as being a coach is a huge responsibility and luckily enough, they always gave me the reigns so to speak to not just lead, to not just coach, but to teach and help mold our next leaders of tomorrow.” Rubinstein finally states, “To me, it’s always about the team, period and end of story! Coaching is a selfless act which I’ve been lucky to do for over two decades. A coach is meant to empower, show empathy, listen, challenge, motivate, support, and help others around them not just reach their potential, but to surpass it. When I say that it’s all about the team, I truly mean that, but in other words, it’s really all about Family!”
