Big Brother and Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton has confirmed the arrival of her fifth child with husband Charles Gay.

The singer welcomed a baby girl on Monday (August 14), announcing her safe arrival and new daughter's name in a sweet Instagram post shared today (August 16).

"I cannot put in to words how we feel right now. Our family is complete," read the star's caption, alongside a black and white photo of Hamilton's husband carrying their new daughter in a car seat, on their way out of hospital.

"Kitty Iris Gay - 14/08/23. We couldn’t be any happier. Welcome to the world baby girl," her caption concluded.

Hamilton had previously revealed her baby daughter's name in an OK! Magazine interview, confirming the couple's intention to call her "Kitty Iris".

She explained the reasoning behind the name choice, denying that her daughter's first name Kitty was linked to her band Atomic Kitten.

"Kitty has nothing to do with the band!" she said. "My grandmother was Kitty and Charles’s grandmother was Iris and we just loved those names together."

Hamilton is already mum to Josh, 20, Harry, 18, Alfie, 13, and eight-year-old Ella from previous relationships. Kitty is the first child she shares with her fashion brand director husband.

The Big Brother star announced her pregnancy in February this year on Instagram. It seems Kitty arrived early, with Hamilton previously confirming her due date as September.

The singer is best known as a member of pop group Atomic Kitten from 1999 to 2004, alongside Jenny Frost, Liz McClarnon and Kerry Katona (who would later leave the band following the birth of her first child).

Hamilton began dating her current husband in 2016 and got engaged the same year, getting married in Lake Como, Italy in October 2021.
