Attempted robbery reported at Dollar General: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two women attempted to steal items from a Dollar General before one of them threatened to assault an employee, according to the Mobile Police Department.

One shot Wednesday morning on Dr EB Goode Drive in Mobile

Officers were called to a Dollar General on Airport Boulevard around 7 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a robbery.

When they arrived, officers found that two women had tried to steal from the business, according to an MPD news release.

The release also said that one of the women threatened to assault an employee before they left the store.
