Attention those meeting fitness goals: Girl Scout cookies have arrived!

Girl Scouts in both our local councils have received their supply of Girl Scout cookies and will be selling them at various locations (perhaps even at your front door) for the next few weeks. This is your only opportunity to get your year’s supply of Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Shortbread and many other classics and new offerings.

How to find a cookie seller? There are at least four ways.

  • Contact any Girl Scout families you know and buy direct from them.

  • Find a group of Girl Scouts set up in various locations. You can use the “Cookie Finder” at each council’s website (more on that in a minute).

  • Contact one of the councils: Texas Oklahoma Plains (800-582-7272), headquartered in Fort Worth and covering counties along and north of Interstate 20, or Girl Scouts of Central Texas (800-733-0011), covering points south.

  • Use the “Cookie Finder” feature on the council website. Here’ how to find it.

For Texas Oklahoma Plains, go to gs-top.org and click “Events and activities,” then “Cookie finder.” Enter your ZIP code and check the results. There are already numerous returns.

Raspberry Rally is the new Girl Scouts cookie for 2023.

For Central Texas, go to gscts.org click the “Cookies” tab, then on “About Girl Scout cookies.” Enter your ZIP code and check the result. As of early last week there were no returns, but keep checking.

There are opportunities for sending cookies to deployed military personnel. Through Texas Oklahoma Plains, you can order Raspberry Rally, described as “a thin, crispy cookie … dipped in the same delicious chocolaty coating as Thin Mints.”

Enjoy.
