Attorney Daniel Forrester is seeking the office of Anderson County chancellor

Republican Daniel Forrester has announced that he will seek the office of Anderson County Chancellor in the March 5 Republican Primary.

Daniel is a conservative Republican who has practiced law in Anderson County for two decades, according to a news release announcing his candidacy. He has maintained a law office for more than a decade on North Main Street in Clinton, where he has served families across Anderson County.

Daniel is a Certified Rule 31 mediator who has helped resolve over 500 civil cases through the Anderson County courts. He has appeared in the Anderson County courts on more than 1,500 cases that include Juvenile, Chancery, Circuit, and Sessions courts over the past 15 years. He has been involved in hundreds of cases involving adoptions, divorces, orders of protection, child support, real estate matters, and other cases focusing on fairness and equity. He has been a member of the Anderson County Bar Association for the past 16 years.

“I have practiced law in the Anderson County courts for two decades and have tailored my practice to family law that has prepared me with the necessary experience and expertise to become Anderson County chancellor. I would appreciate everyone’s vote in the upcoming election.” Forrester stated.

He has been active in supporting community organizations across Anderson County for years, including school organizations and sports teams, churches, civic groups, and other charitable organizations.

He lives in Andersonville with his wife Chrissy, son Titus, 17, and daughter Chloe, 11. Titus is a senior at Anderson County High School and Chloe is a sixth grader at South Clinton Elementary.

Daniel and his family are members of First Baptist Church in Andersonville.

The Republican Primary will be held on March 5. Early voting will begin on Feb. 14.
