ATX TV Festival adds 'Righteous Gemstones,' 'grown-ish,' Ted Danson

ATX TV Festival, Austin's annual celebration of the small screen, on Friday announced several big additions to its 2023 lineup, including a world premiere screening for HBO comedy "The Righteous Gemstones."
The festival, June 1-4, will present the first look of Season 3 of the show about a family of televangelists. Afterward, star Danny McBride will participate in a conversation with cast members and creative staff to be announced.

Also unveiled Friday:
Visits from Ted Danson and George Wendt, who have been added to an event marking the 30th anniversary of "Cheers"
A screening of the Season 2 premiere of Freeform series "Cruel Summer"
A conversation with the cast and showrunner of the Freeform comedy "grown-ish"
An appearance by "Late Night" host Seth Meyers
An inside look of Fox crime show "Accused" from showrunner Howard Gordon
