Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl gives update on Dylan Cardwell

AUBURN — Auburn basketball backup big man Dylan Cardwell left the Tigers' game against Alabama on March 1 with an apparent ankle injury. Following the loss to the Crimson Tide, coach Bruce Pearl said Cardwell "sprained it pretty good."

The junior then missed Auburn's next game against Tennessee on Saturday. But according to Pearl, Cardwell has returned to practice and there is potential for him to play in the upcoming SEC Tournament.

“Dylan practiced today," Pearl said Tuesday. "He wasn’t in there a lot, but he was in there enough to think he is possible.”
