AUBURN — Auburn basketball has picked up its first addition of the offseason.

FIU transfer Denver Jones, who averaged 20.1 points per game on 47.8% shooting with the Golden Panthers last season, committed to the Tigers on Saturday. The 6-foot-4 guard shot 37.1% from 3-point range and added 3.8 rebounds to go along with two assists per contest.

"Auburn family. what ya'll think!?" he wrote Saturday on Twitter.

Jones is from New Market, Alabama.

He joins signee Aden Holloway as new players who'll be playing for coach Bruce Pearl. With Zep Jasper running out of eligibility, Babatunde Akingbola and Yohan Traore announcing they're entering the transfer portal and Chance Westry reportedly doing the same, Pearl still has plenty of room for more additions.
