Auburn basketball score vs. Arkansas: Live updates as Tigers return to Neville Arena
AUBURN — Auburn basketball dropped its third game of the season against Georgia on Wednesday, but the Tigers will look to respond and score a win over Arkansas.
Auburn (11-3, 1-1 SEC) has split the first two games of conference play. The Tigers started with a nail-biting win over Florida on Dec. 28 that came down to the contest's final seconds, but followed that with the losing effort at Stegeman Coliseum in their matchup against the Bulldogs.
Johni Broome dropped his third double-double of the season and Allen Flanigan added 10 points off the bench, but the rest of Auburn's roster shot 10-of-42 from the field. Inefficiency on offense has been an issue for the Tigers all season long, and it caught up to them Wednesday.

Arkansas (12-2, 1-1) doesn't have the same issues scoring. The Razorbacks are led by junior guard Ricky Council IV, who averages 18.4 points per game, and freshman guard Anthony Black, who stuffs the stat sheet with 11.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest.
The two losses for the Razorbacks this season were both one-possession affairs. Arkansas has either won big or been in every game it's played thus far.
