AUBURN — Auburn basketball can maintain its perfect record through the early part of the season if it can score a win over Colgate.

The Tigers (7-0) are coming off a victory against Saint Louis on Sunday. Coach Bruce Pearl said leading up to the game that it was going to be his team's biggest test so far this season. The Billikens gave Auburn everything it could handle, but the Tigers held on late, 65-60.

Wendell Green Jr. scored 22 points, and Pearl called him the "best player on the floor" after the game. Johni Broome, who went 4-for-14 from the field and struggled offensively, blocked eight shots on defense.
