Auburn basketball score vs. Saint Louis: Live updates as Tigers return to Neville Arena

AUBURN — Auburn basketball is back home and looking to score a win over Saint Louis.

The Tigers (6-0) just wrapped up their participation in the Cancun Challenge, winning both of the games they played in Mexico, including a nail-biting 43-42 win over Northwestern on Wednesday. The Wildcats had a chance to win it late, but Auburn got a stop on defense and barely hung on to maintain its undefeated record.

Aside from Jaylin Williams, who is shooting 50% from 3-point range over the last three games, the Tigers could barely get anything going offensively, making just 26% of their shots from the field.

Saint Louis (5-1), meanwhile, comes into the game on the heels of a 43-point win over Paul Quinn. The Billikens' only loss thus far came against Maryland on Nov. 19, and their biggest win of the season is a victory over Memphis four days prior. The leading scorer for Saint Louis is redshirt sophomore Jimerson Gibson, who is averaging 14.7 points per game and knocking down 46.7% of his attempts from beyond the 3-point arc.

Junior point guard Yuri Collins is the engine of the offense, as he's averaging over 10 assists per game.
