AUBURN — Walker Kessler announced one of the funniest and most nostalgic name, image and likeness deals of the season Tuesday.

The Auburn basketball center is partnering with Dunkaroos, a popular Betty Crocker snack cookie that comes with frosting dip. Dunkaroos were introduced in 1990, discontinued in 2012 and reintroduced in 2020.

"Vibe Check!" Kessler tweeted Tuesday. "Who remembers this go to 90's snack? The classic snack is in the dunk business now and guess who gets to help them pave the way?"

The winking irony of the NIL deal, of course, is that Kessler was born in 2001.

Kessler was one of college basketball's best finishers at the rim in 2021-22, making him a fitting representative for Dunkaroos. He was 70.2% on 2-point shot attempts. The 7-1 Auburn big man is projected to be a first-round NBA draft pick, but he has not yet announced whether he intends to enter the draft. He transferred to Auburn after spending his freshman season as a bench contributor at North Carolina.
