AUBURN — Drew Bobo, an Auburn football offensive line pledge and son of former offensive coordinator Mike Bobo, has flipped his commitment to Georgia, he posted on social media Monday night.

The flip comes as no surprise after Auburn fired Mike Bobo at the end of the 2021 regular season. Bobo was a longtime Georgia offensive coordinator as well and is close with Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart, so Drew Bobo's background with the program stretches through most of his childhood.

Bobo is a three-star and the No. 56 offensive tackle in the 2022 class, according to 247Sports' composite rankings. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound lineman played his senior season at Auburn High this fall during his dad's one year on the Plains.

The flip brings Auburn's 2022 class count back down to 13 after defensive back Austin Ausberry committed Monday. The only offensive lineman commit remaining in Auburn's class is Eston Harris Jr., another three-star tackle who played at Auburn High this season.
