Auburn football recruiting: 4-star WR Daquayvious Sorey commits to Tigers over Alabama
AUBURN — Four-star receiver Daquayvious Sorey has committed to Auburn football, he announced Friday.
Sorey is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound wide receiver from Campbellton, Florida. According to the 247Sports Composite, he is the No. 238 overall recruit in the 2023 class, the No. 30 receiver and the No. 48 prospect in Florida. He chose the Tigers over Alabama, Miami and Florida.
The Chipley High School senior becomes Auburn's eighth member of the 2023 class, which now includes two receivers. Karmello English (Phenix City) is the No. 161 overall prospect and Auburn's highest-ranked commit so far.
Seven of the eight verbal commits are four-stars. Sorey is now the third-highest ranked of the group.
