Auburn football vs. Texas A&M: Our final score predictions are in.

Auburn football will host the Texas A&M Aggies in a conference battle on Saturday night.

The Tigers will look to bounce back after suffering an overtime loss to Mississippi State last week. The winner of the matchup will decide who sits at the bottom of the SEC West.

The Aggies are also looking to break a five-game losing streak with a win over the Tigers. Texas A&M earned it's first conference win against Arkansas in Week 4.

Will the Tigers bounce back on Saturday night? Here's what our experts had to say.

Richard Silva, Auburn football beat reporter

Auburn 28, Texas A&M 24: With Jordan-Hare Stadium sold out for Saturday's game, the crowd will undoubtedly be a factor against Texas A&M. The Tigers also have an opportunity to control the pace of the game by running the ball effectively against an Aggies front that gives up plenty of yards. If the defense can force turnovers as it did against Mississippi State, too, then Auburn should be able to get back into the win column for the first time in over a month.

Blake Toppmeyer, SEC columnist

Texas A&M 27, Auburn 24: Leave it to interim coach Cadillac Williams to get Auburn where it needed to be all season – churning out rushing yardage. The Tigers rushed for 256 yards last week and nearly upset Mississippi State. That ground game should give Auburn a chance against the Aggies, but I just don’t trust the Tigers in any other area. Of course, I have little faith in the Aggies, either. Each team is nursing a five-game losing streak. Call this the Toilet Bowl.

John Adams, senior sports columnist

Texas A&M 24, Auburn 20: When was the last time two SEC teams on five-game losing streaks met – and one of them wasn’t Vanderbilt?

One more question: What's wrong with the Aggies?

Brief answer: The flu bug took a bite out of them before the Gators did. They have started three different quarterbacks and seven different offensive lines in nine weeks. Despite their much-ballyhooed recruiting class, they’re playing a walk-on in their secondary. And they haven’t scored more than 28 points against an FBS opponent.
