Update: Auburn guard Wendell Green Jr. leaves with injury vs. Missouri men's basketball

Update: Wendell Green Jr. returned to the court with 9:56 left in the second half. SEC Network reported that Green had suffered a knee contusion.

Auburn men's basketball guard Wendell Green Jr. left with an apparent right knee injury in the second half at Missouri on Tuesday, Jan. 25.

Green drove to the basket, and his right knee collided with the left knee of Missouri forward Yaya Keita. Green went down to the floor, and play was stopped with 13:18 left in the second half.

Green was helped back to the Auburn locker room immediately.

Missouri led 39-38 when Green came out of the game.

Green had six points, two rebounds, and one assist in 12 minutes before leaving the game. He finished the game with six points, three rebounds, and three assists in 22 minutes.

Auburn defeated Missouri 55-54.

After the game, Green tweeted, "My knee is good. Tough win, onto the next! #GodFirst."

Auburn, ranked No. 2 in the Ferris Mowers Men's Basketball Coaches Poll powered by USA Today Sports, improved to 19-1 overall and 8-0 in the SEC. Missouri went to 8-11 overall and 2-5 in the SEC.
