AUBURN — One judge had already shown a score for Suni Lee's performance on bars in the second rotation of Auburn gymnastics' win over LSU on Friday: A perfect 10.

With half the battle won, all eyes turned to the second judge, who would determine Lee's score in the event. As the scorekeeper began to reveal the ruling, members of The Jungle caught a peak, sending them into a frenzy. Soon, the entire crowd at Neville Arena would be doing the same.

The second judge awarded Lee with a 10, confirming the perfect score, her fourth of the season and her second on bars; She was also perfect in the event at Auburn's last meet against Alabama on Feb. 3. Lee finished with a 39.775 in the all-around, second only to LSU's Aleah Finnegan, who picked up a 10 on vault, a 9.975 on floor, a 9.95 on beam and a 9.875 on bars.

Auburn finished with a season high to top LSU, 197.75-197.5

Three other Auburn Tigers participated in all four events and registered all-around marks: Cassie Stevens (39.5), Sophia Groth (39.3) and Olivia Hollingsworth (38.925).

While Lee provided the highlight of the meet on Auburn's end, it was Derrian Gobourne who got things started with a team-high 9.925 on vault in the first rotation. That's Gobourne's best score in the event since she logged a 9.95 in the Super 16 on Jan. 7 to open the season.

Gobourne again capped an Auburn home meet with her signature routine on floor, earning a 9.975. One judge said she was perfect, but the other disagreed with a 9.95, resulting in a 9.975 to end the meet. The exact thing happened to Lee just before as she scored a 9.975 as well.
