Auburn vs. Georgia: How to watch Auburn’s SEC home opener

Auburn baseball will welcome the Georgia Bulldogs to Plainsman Park for the Tigers’ second SEC series of the season this week, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

Auburn (14-6-1, 0-3 SEC) is looking to pick up its first SEC win of the season after getting swept by No. 3 Arkansas to open SEC play last weekend. The Tigers bounced back with a 6-5 win over South Alabama Tuesday to get back in the win column.

The Bulldogs (14-7, 0-3 SEC) also got swept in their first SEC series, dropping three games to No. 11 South Carolina. They also bounced back with a win during the week, taking down Georgia State.

“This is good, tough and hard like every year I’ve ever been a part of this league,” head coach Butch Thompson said of the series. “This team just needs to understand that, embrace it really. We overuse ‘stay in the fight’, that’s kind of our deal, but you have to be in the ring and you have to throw some back. It’s not just cover up and take punches. This league is built around your ability to throw punches back. That’s what I want to see out of our ballclub.”
