Auction: Historic church converted into family home

DAYTON, Ohio (WJW) – A historic church in Ohio, later converted into a single-family home, is up for auction but time is running out to place a bid.

The auction listing describes the 15,000-square-foot building as “truly one-of-a-kind” and a “fantastic investment opportunity.”

The church, located in Dayton, was built in 1900, according to the Montgomery County Auditors Office.

It features beautiful architecture with original stained glass windows and woodwork. As well as 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms.

According to the listing, the current owner has “received conditional usage to utilize the space for assembly.” So, it may have the potential to be transformed into an event center, office space, condos, or apartments. Or, as the listing reads — “Your own private sanctuary…literally.”
