Auglaize County honors first baby since anniversary
Feb. 21—AUGLAIZE COUNTY — Alex and Lindsay Schmitt welcomed baby boy Thomas Mosley Schmitt at 5:55 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 at Joint Township Hospital. Baby boy Schmitt weighed 6 pounds and 10 ounces. He was the first baby born in the county following its 175th Anniversary celebration.
According to a recent press release, the Auglaize County 175th Anniversary Committee thanked First National Bank and its branches for providing the gift basket for baby boy Schmitt. In addition, he will receive a commemorative silver coin from the celebration.
