Augusta man identified as Wrightsboro Road shooting victim

The Richmond County Coroner's Office recently identified a man killed Monday night at the Smart Grocery on Wrightsboro Road in Augusta.

Jeremiah Griffin, 32, of Augusta, was shot at least once and pronounced dead on the scene, according to a news release from the Richmond County Coroner's Office.

An autopsy has been scheduled, according to the release.
