Austin-Based Artist Deborah Roberts Discusses Her Life, Work
AUSTIN, TX — As COVID-19 dominates our daily lives, and people are staying home to mitigate its spread, creative pursuits have begun occupying significant portions of our days. They say necessity is the mother of invention, and the surge of creativity is palpable every where you look these days. In an effort to inspire and create a greater sense of community, Big Medium will host its Coffee Chats series with featured artist Deborah Roberts — mixed media artist whose work challenges the notion of ideal beauty.
Roberts work has been exhibited internationally in both the US and Europe, and she lives and works in Austin, TX. Coffee Chats feature leader in the creative community sharing their personal and professional experiences to inspire others pursuing careers in art. The upcoming webinar with Deborah Roberts will take place Thursday, July 16 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. CDT and is free and open to all ages.
