Which Austin restaurants will be at Q2 Stadium for the 2024 season?

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Feast your eyes on this: Austin FC previewed Tuesday new and returning food and drink vendors setting up shop at Q2 Stadium ahead of the Verde’s 2024 season.

Austin FC gave the sneak peek to media personnel ahead of the Verde’s season opener on Feb. 24. In tradition with seasons past, officials said they want the menu offerings to speak to the diversity of cuisine and cultural institutions found in Austin.

“[We’re] just trying to be reflective of different cultures, making sure that there’s a balance,” said Sam Boisjoly, Levy Restaurants’ senior executive chef. “We have everything from Asian to Central American to Mexican, I mean, Mediterranean. So we’re really trying to make sure that we have a really good balance so that everyone that comes here can find food they identify with.”

Now, that’s not to say you won’t find some more traditional, fan-friendly stadium staples — Boisjoly said plenty of those will be in store, but with a higher quality approach.

“How do we make it the best it can possibly be? That’s our constant focus,” he said. “We have our concession stands as well, where if you just want a pretzel or you just want a hotdog, we’re totally cool with that. It’s just gonna be a really good pretzel or a really good hotdog. That’s our focus.”

While Austin FC enthusiasts well acquainted with Q2 Stadium will see some familiar faces, there are new restaurant partners in store this go around.

Black’s Barbecue, Mediterranean joint Shwarma Point and Argentinian restaurant Little Patagonia are newly minted vendors, while returning favorites like Kerbey Lane have new adjustments to their Q2 menu, he added. Good Pop, after popping up at Q2 in the latter half of the 2023 season, is also ready to go for the full 2024 season.

“A lot of what we do hear at the stadium is just really listening to our fans and seeing what they want in the stadium,” Boisjoly said. “So that definitely helps us dictate what we present to them.”
