Australian parliament pays tribute to late Queen

STORY: Both the House of Representatives and the Senate moved the motion of condolences.

"She was a rare and reassuring constant amidst rapid change, but even the brightest star must eventually set, leaving us with the memory of the glow," Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said in an address to parliament.

The British High Commissioner to Australia, Vicki Treadell, was present in parliament to hear the tributes.
