Autauga County Sheriff Joe Sedinger re-elected for third term
PRATTVILLE — Autauga County Sheriff Joe Sedinger easily won re-election Tuesday, winning his third term without a run-off.
With complete but unofficial results in, Sedinger took 6,041 votes, or 62%, to challengers Mark Harrell, with 2,403, and Ken Gray, with 1,253. This was the Republican Primary. No Democratic candidate has qualified to run.

"I want to thank everyone who supported me and turned out and voted for me," Sedinger said. "I ran on my record and the public saw that. I want to thank my family for sticking by me. I'm just very appreciative of the support the public has given me."
Harrell is a 22-year veteran of the Prattville Police Department, serving as a lieutenant and shift commander.
"It's disappointing, I want to congratulate Joe on his win," Harrell said. "I want to thank my family and friends for their support. I'm proud of the campaign we ran and the ideas we ran on. That's why we live in this country."
Gray is a former deputy serving under Sedinger. He resigned after serving about 11 years with the office.
