Author Talk with Matt Quinn at Switzer Library

Jul. 8—The Switzer Library, 266 Roswell Street in Marietta, will have an Author Talk with Matt Quinn on July 20 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Local author Matthew W. Quinn will discuss aspects of publishing, focusing on the self-publishing of his own titles. He will also be discussing his book, "The Thing in the Woods", published in 2017. Quinn grew up in Marietta and graduated from the University of Georgia with a dual degree in magazine journalism and history.

Quinn has written science fiction, fantasy, and horror. He is a member of the Atlanta chapter of the Horror Writers Association. He can be reached at mquinn1984@gmail.com.
