Authorities take down Baltimore drug operation

A three-month investigation led to the takedown of a major drug operation in southwest Baltimore, city officials announced Monday. Standing alongside the mayor and police commissioner, Baltimore City State's Attorney Ivan Bates announced the takedown of an alleged fentanyl drug trafficking organization in southwest Baltimore that resulted in five indictments against Dane "Danna" Kennedy; Michelle Taylor; Jadin Wingate; Kenneth Davis, also known as Kenneth Waddy; and Desean Parker. Authorities arrested four of the five suspects on April 4, and they continue to search for Davis, who remains at large.
