Authorities ID young man fatally shot at a north Minneapolis gas station
Authorities have identified the young man who was shot and killed last week at a north Minneapolis gas station.
George F. Zeon, 19, was shot in the head Thursday at the AmStar gas station on West Broadway between James and Knox avenues, and he died that night at North Memorial Medical Center.
Police have announced no arrests in what is one of Minneapolis' 26 homicides so far this year.
The gunfire erupted about 5:50 p.m., and responding officers found that Zeon had been shot several times.
