Authorities investigate rollover crash in Del Mar

DEL MAR, Calif. — At least one person was sent to the hospital Saturday after a rollover crash in Del Mar, authorities said.

The San Diego Sheriff’s Department told FOX 5 a call came in at 12:52 p.m. reporting a collision in the area of Camino Del Mar and 15th Street.

A vehicle was found flipped on its side off the roadway. For reasons still under investigation, SDSO said the driver of the vehicle lost control and hit several other vehicles before rolling over.

It’s not yet known if the person transported to the hospital was the driver or another involved individual. FOX 5 is working to gather more information.

There are no reported road closures at this time.
