Authorities looking for man accused of assaulting woman, child in Nacogdoches

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KETK) – Authorities in Nacogdoches are asking for the public’s help in finding a man accused of assaulting a woman and teenager.

According to the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office, 33-year-old Jabora Dewayne Wallace is accused of striking a woman and a 13-year-old at a residence in the 7700 block of CR 808 on Dec. 19, then fleeing the scene while deputies were on the way.

“The adult victim was struck numerous times during the assault, and the child was struck several times with a piece of wall flashing,” deputies said. “Both the victims’ injuries were non-life threatening.”

Deputies searched for Wallace but could not find him. They obtained two arrest warrants for Wallace, one for second-degree felony of assault family violence with a deadly weapon and a third-degree felony of injury to a child. Additional charges against him are pending.
