Authorities are asking the public to help locate a Petal woman and her 1-year-old child who tested positive for methamphetamines.

Investigators believe 23-year-old Ashlie Collier is still with her son after Child Protective Services was granted custody of the child. The child was ordered by the court to be removed from Collier's custody, according to a news release sent Tuesday from Forrest County Sheriff's Department.

Collier, who is 5 feet, 5 inches and weighs about 140 pounds with black hair and blue eyes, has an active warrant for felony child abuse.

Anyone with information may contact the Forrest County Sheriff’s Department at 601-544-7800 or the METRO Crime Stoppers Hotline at 601-582-7867. Anonymous tips may be left at p3tips.com.
