Auto racing: Zieske, Hedtke take home feature titles at KRA Speedway
Jul. 8—WILLMAR — Derek Zieske of Renville won the A feature race in the WISSOTA Street Stock Division on Thursday night at KRA Speedway.
Zieske edged Braden Brauer of Eyota and Ethan Liams of Kandiyohi.
In the WISSOTA Super Stock Division, Jay Hedtke of Grove City was victorious in the A feature. Zach Schultz, also of Grove City, was second and Andrew Hedtke, another Grove City resident, took third.
No other A features were completed at deadline as racers dealt with steady rain most of the evening.
Racing continues at 7 p.m. next Thursday at KRA with the Super Stock Special and Stock Car Special sponsored by Donnelly Truck Service Inc. of Willmar. No races will be held in the WISSOTA Modified, WISSOTA Midwest Modified or WISSOTA Mod Fours classes.
