Avalanche coach Jared Bednar cleared to coach in Game 6 after missing morning skate

Jun. 10—Colorado Avalanche coach Jared Bednar was cleared to coach in Game 6 against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Bednar was absent from the team's morning skate Thursday morning at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The team said he was not at the arena due to "an irregularity" in his COVID-19 test results.

The team said he was cleared at 1:30 p.m. local time with the game set for 6 p.m. (7 MDT).

The Avalanche trail 3-2 in the second-round series.
