Avatar Studios Revealed A New Kyoshi Pic & Gay Twitter Is In Shambles

Avatar Studios is making Sapphic Twitter’s day today with the surprise release of a new photo of its fan-favorite queer, Avatar Kiyoshi.

The photo was released to the public as a tie-in with the popular mobile game Avatar Generations and features a young Kiyoshi as she appeared before she became the Avatar and donned her iconic makeup.

She is seen here with her distinctive freckles, long dark hair, and simple clothing from her time working in the home of Yun, the young man assumed to be the next Avatar.

While Kiyoshi was first introduced in Avatar: The Last Airbender, fans really got to know her in her spinoff novels The Rise of Kiyoshi and The Shadow of Kiyoshi, which chronicled her humble beginnings to the discovery of her identity as the Avatar, and her battles against enemies who would seek to disrupt the balance of power and take it for themselves. But it also features her love story with a fire bender named Rangi.

With both a live-action Netflix series on the way, and new animated films and content coming from the original creators at Avatar Studios, it’s an exciting time to be an Airbender fan. Seeing this image also adds a ton of hype to the previously announced Kyoshi movie coming from Avatar Studios.
