The Simferopol military hospital is at full capacity due to a huge number of new wounded soldiers, the Atesh movement reported on Feb. 21.

Military transport vehicles enter the hospital on Zhukovskyi Street "practically 24 hours a day," Atesh said on Telegram.

Costly recent assaults on Avdiivka and near Zaporizhzhya may be the main reason for the huge influx of wounded and killed, the partisans said.

The hospital is almost completely full and bodies are mostly transported in KamAZ trucks because there are too many of them to transport in medical vehicles.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported on Feb. 17 that the Ukrainian army had withdrawn from Avdiivka, Donetsk Oblast, after four months of intense fighting and regular attacks by the Russian troops. This decision was made to avoid encirclement and to save the lives and health of the soldiers.

The commander of the Tavria troop grouping, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, said that "a number" of Ukrainian soldiers were captured during the withdrawal from Avdiivka.

Dmytro Lykhoviy, head of the public relations department of the Tavria grouping, said that the withdrawal of troops from Avdiivka was as successful as the circumstances allowed.

The DeepState analytical portal reported that the Russian military shot six captured Ukrainian soldiers at the Museum position (formerly Zenit military unit) in Avdiivka, who remained there after the Ukrainian army retreated from the town. Four of them were wounded and unable to walk.

Russians shared a video in social networks showing dead Ukrainian soldiers lying in the premises of Garage No. 1. A series of “mistakes and delays in taking decisive actions” led to such a tragedy, analysts complained.

Three wounded soldiers who remained at Zenit position near Avdiivka were identified by their relatives, who had watched the video, the Investigation.Info reported.

Journalist Yuriy Butusov published "a list of six seriously wounded Ukrainian servicemen of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade who were left during the breakthrough from Zenit stronghold near Avdiivka on Feb. 14" on his Facebook: Pavlov, Dubnytskyi, Baranovskyi, Savosik, Zhitnik, Zinchuk (spelling of surnames has been preserved — ed.).
