Avengers: Endgame is set to officially become Marvel's biggest movie ever.

With an estimated worldwide haul of $2.19bn, Endgame will soon overtake Avengers: Infinity War ($2.05bn), making it the studio's most lucrative title to date.

Continuing to break records, the film surpassed the $2bn mark at the global box office on Saturday (May 4), just 11 days after its release. That makes it the fastest film ever to break the $2bn threshold, smashing Avatar's record of 47 days.

Endgame is also set to overtake Star Wars: The Force Awakens and even Titanic to become the second highest grossing film of all time, with Avatar still pipping the top spot with its whopping intake of $2.79bn.

However, it's worth mentioning that Endgame's total box office tally is after just two weeks of its release, meaning it is well and truly on its way to becoming the most financially successful film of all time.

In another astonishing achievement, Endgame also became the first film ever to to surpass $1bn in its opening weekend.
