Avengers fans urged to leave social media after spoiler-heavy Endgame footage leaks

Marvel fans are being ordered to leave social media due to a spoiler-heavy Avengers: Endgame leak.

Despite efforts from Disney to prevent anything from dropping ahead of the film’s release, the leak is making its way around the net.

As a consequence, fans are going to extreme lengths to stop themselves from having anything spoiled.

“Terrified” followers of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are fleeing Twitter or muting any possible word that would see the mobile phone-filmed sizzle reel make its way onto their timeline.

There are some who have gone ahead and watched the leak, which they’ve confirmed is full of big reveals, so there’s a fear that they could post screenshots on your timeline – so be warned.

Endgame is shrouded in so much secrecy that journalists weren’t permitted to see the film ahead of interviewing its many cast members, including Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans, in the run-up to its release.

This didn’t stop Karen Gillan from revealing a bit too much about Nebula’s storyline in the new film. “I just got really nervous and gave something away,” she said in front of a crowded audience.

Now, it seems the person behind the leak, most likely someone who had clearance to watch the footage, is going to get “more fired than any human has ever been fired before”.

Last month, the studio’s official website posted a synopsis on its website, teasing a dramatic conclusion to a tale that’s been 11 years and 22 films in the making.

“The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame.”

While it doesn’t reveal any details about specific plot points in the final Avengers film, it does heighten the excitement for what is sure to be one of the biggest events in the history of cinema – and also promises the end of the Avengers as we know them.

Opening night tickets to the film are being sold on eBay for up to $10,000 in the US.
