Aventura Mall’s farmers market closed because of COVID-19. It’s back as a drive-through

The Aventura Mall is opening a farmers market this weekend - and you don’t need to get out of your car to shop there.

At the new curbside version of the market, you pre-order and pre-pay, then pick them up via drive-through system.

This isn’t the sort of farmers market where you get a basket of fresh vegetables, though. Vendors include Ciabella Bread, Sweet Blendz (those acai bowls!) and Two to Cake (cupcakes, macaroons, chocolate chip cookies and more). You can buy specialty jams, Kettle Corn or spices and teas. Mother’s Day is coming and shopping solutions are needed.

Here’s what to do: visit aventuramall.com/aventura-market to check out the menus of individual vendors. Pre-order by calling or texting individual vendors ( a few will let you order on the website). Pre pay using such services as Venmo, Zelle, Cash App and PayPal (cash is not accepted).

When you arrive at the mall, don’t get out of the car - a vendor will put your package in the back seat or trunk.

Some of the mall restaurants are open for pickup and delivery, including Tap 42, Shake Shack, Serafina, Trattoria Rosalia, Bella Luna, Chicken Guy, The Cheesecake Factory and Pubbelly Sushi (where you can order a sushi cake, if you are so inspired).
