Award-winning actor, comedian Katt Williams coming to Pensacola. Here's how to get tickets

Comedian and Emmy Award-winning actor Katt Williams is coming to the Pensacola Bay Center this November as part of The Dark Matter Tour.

Tickers go on sale June 14 through Ticketmaster and the Bay Center box office.

Who is Katt Williams?

With a career spanning over 20 years, Katt Williams has sold out thousands of arenas, had an expansive list of starring roles on the small screen and many memorable performances in major box office hits.

His extensive filmography includes notable roles in "Friday After Next," "Father Figures," "Norbit," "Scary Movie V," "Epic Movie," "The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2," "Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore," "The Boondocks," "Wild 'n Out," and a guest role in the critically acclaimed series "Atlanta," which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series.

Williams is also known for his critically acclaimed stand-up specials, including “The Pimp Chronicles,” “It’s Pimpin’ Pimpin’,” “Katt Williams: Pimpadelic,” “American Hustle,” “Priceless: Afterlife,” “Kattpacalypse,” “Katt Williams: Great America,” and most recently, “Katt Williams: World War III” on Netflix.

The show is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Bay Center, 201 E. Gregory St., Pensacola. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Tickets are available for pre-sale starting Wednesday, June 14 at 10 a.m. General on sale begins Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com.

According to seating chart provided by the Bay Center there are five pricing levels based on proximity to the stage, with level 1 being the closest and level 5 being the farthest.

• Price level 1: $186

• Price level 2: $134

• Price level 3: $107

• Price level 4: $82

• Price level 5: $65.50

Tips for Ticketmaster’s queue

Ticketmaster doesn’t guarantee you’ll get a chance to buy tickets when you join a queue, but there are some ways to help your chances.

• Join the waiting room at least 10 minutes before the event goes on sale.

• Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis once it’s your turn to shop, so check venue seating ahead of time and make backup plans if you find that your preferred seats are already taken.

• Don’t refresh. The page will automatically refresh when you enter the queue.

• Don’t let your screen dim. The waiting room will pause if your screen dims.

• Don’t leave the page.

• Have your current payment and billing info ready to go ahead of time.

• Turn on your volume. A queue bell will sound once you’re in the queue.

• Your spot will be held for 10 minutes once you’re in the queue.
