Members of the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office were honored Dec. 2 at the office’s annual Christmas/Awards banquet.

Award winners were:

• Sheriff’s Award – Capt. Mike O'Bryant and Capt. Josh Morgan

• Deputy of the Year – Deputy Dwight Fuller

• Investigator of the Year – Investigator Wesley Smith

• Supervisor of the Year – Capt. Paul Williams Jr

• School Resource Deputy of the Year – Russell Shaneyfelt

• Administrative Assistant of the Year – Janice Ash

• Top Gun Award – Lt. Barry Smith

• Correctional Deputy of the Year – Deputy Eula Higgins

• Correctional Supervisor of the Year – Sgt. Carrie McClung

• S.O.D. Team Member of the Year – Deputy Zachary Robertson

• Administrative Deputy of the Year – Deputy Alan Woods

• Medical Team Member of the Year – Geandria Butle
