Babymonster drops teaser for debut MV ‘Batter Up', renames one member

YG Entertainment on Thursday dropped a teaser from Babymonster’s debut music video, “Batter Up,” after announcing a stage name change for one member.

High hopes: The teaser highlights 29 seconds from “Batter Up," the group's highly anticipated debut track. Since its posting, the video has amassed over 4.4 million views, with fans sharing each other's excitement.

Changes to note: The teaser follows a few final changes ahead of the group's debut on Nov. 27. From seven members, Babymonster is now down to six after Ahyeon's exit over "health issues."

Haram's name has also been changed to Rami. In a statement, YG Entertainment explained that "Rami" is a nickname used by her fellow members, removing the “Ha” from her birth name Haram.

Other information: Babymonster's members have three different nationalities. Two come from South Korea (Rora and Rami), two from Japan (Asa and Ruka) and two from Thailand (Chiquita and Pharita).

At 14, Chiquita is reportedly the youngest member of the group. Ruka is reportedly the eldest at 21, followed by Pharita (18), Asa (17), Rami (16) and Rora (15).
