Bach visits Olympic Village, signs Truce Mural

Bach said the Olympics were intended to promote peace between nations and show that people can compete for the 'highest prize' whilst also living under one roof at the Olympic Village.

The athletes and officials taking part in the Olympics Games are encouraged to show support for the Olympic Truce, a tradition dating back to the Games' origins in ancient Greece, by signing the Mural.
