'Bachelor' alum Michelle Money's teen daughter on life support after skateboard accident

Former "Bachelor" contestant Michelle Money is opening up about her daughter's serious head injury.

Money, who competed on season 15 of the ABC reality series, revealed on Instagram Monday that her 15-year-old daughter is on life support after a skateboarding accident left her with serious brain trauma and a fractured skull.

Money shared a photo of her daughter, Brielle, in an intensive care unit at Intermountain Healthcare's Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. The teen was put into a medically induced coma to relieve pressure on her brain.

Money called the event "the worst experience" of her life.

"Please- I am asking for prayers," she added. "In whatever form you commune with your Higher Power, please as a desperate mother, I am begging you to do so."

Money also said she's "forever grateful" to her neighbors who, while out for a walk, found her daughter and called 911.

Brielle was in terrible skateboarding accident and is in the ICU on life support. She suffered a serious brain trauma and a fractured skull. She is in a medically induced coma to relieve pressure in her brain. She is in amazing hands up at Primary Children’s Hospital. Please- I am asking for prayers. I believe in the power of communication with whatever God you believe in. The energy of your conscious focus to send healing to my daughter is real. In whatever form you commune with your Higher Power, please as a desperate mother, I am begging you to do so. She needs support and healing right now. She encouraged parents everywhere to make sure their children wear helmets, even if they complain.

"ALWAYS MAKE THEM WEAR THE HELMET," she wrote. "ALWAYS. EVEN WHEN THEY PUSH BACK."

A few hours later, Money gave an update in another Instagram post. According to the former reality star, Ryan Money, her ex-husband and Brielle's father, was waiting in the hospital's parking lot due to coronavirus restrictions that allow only one parent visitor at a time.

In another post, she said the surgery to reduce her daughter's brain swelling "went great." She also shared two videos of her and Brielle dancing and laughing in the car. They were taken two hours before the accident.

"I can’t wait to hear her laugh again!" Money wrote. "Two more days to let the brain swell up and monitor until taking her off of sedation to see what we find. Thank you again for the prayers. You will never know."

This was two hours before the accident. We decided to put makeup on and go to the gas station and grab a drink. I told her I would let her drive my car in the parking lot as she is working on driving soon. She told me she was awesome at parking! 😂Lol! (She lied) We have so much fun together! She is my favorite human! I can’t wait to hear her laugh again! Surgery went great. Her numbers are in a really good place. In addition to "The Bachelor," Money also competed on Season 2 of the since-canceled spin-off "Bachelor Pad," as well as on Season 1 of "Bachelor in Paradise."
