  • Mike Fleiss, creator of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise, has been accused of assaulting and verbally abusing his pregnant estranged wife, Laura Fleiss.

  • Now, Warner Bros. (the production company that produces The Bachelor) is investigating the allegations against Mike.

Earlier this month, The Bachelor creator, Mike Fleiss, faced allegations from his pregnant estranged wife, Laura, who claims he verbally and physically abused her. Along with her formal legal complaint, she submitted photos of her bruises and injuries, as well as a video of her and Mike getting into an altercation in their Hawaii home on July 6. A judge ordered a restraining order, which requires Mike to stay a minimum 100 yards away from Laura until August 6—the end of Mike's next court hearing.

Following the allegations, Warner Bros. Television— the company that produces The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise— is now looking into the abuse complaints and will likely determine what the proper course of action is once a conclusion has been made. A Warner Bros. spokesperson spoke to People, saying “We are aware of these serious allegations, and are looking into them.”

Mike was quick to refute the abuse rumors, though. “I have not hurt, attacked, or attempted to physically harm Laura or our child…in any way,” he said in court documents obtained by The Blast. “Laura was the aggressor during the incident and physically attacked me. I tried to get away from her as she was chasing me and hitting me. I have security footage from our home that shows the incident, which the Court can review.”

A majority of the drama allegedly stems from Mike not wanting a second child with Laura—who is at least 10 weeks pregnant. Court documents obtained by The Blast claim that Mike threatened to end their marriage if Laura didn't have an abortion. The former couple, who have filed for divorce, currently share a 4-year-old son named Ben.
