The Bachelor’s Lauren Bushnell Is Engaged to Chris Lane
Look who’s getting married! Lauren Bushnell, former winner of ABC’s The Bachelor, is engaged to country singer Chris Lane.
“I can’t stop smiling,” Bushnell announced Tuesday, June 18, alongside a photo from the proposal moment. “I feel so incredibly blessed that every misstep, mistake and heartache has led me to you. I couldn’t be happier to call you mine, forever. The journey was well worth it. Thank you Christopher Eric Lane for softening my heart and making it whole. Never going to stop telling you how much I love you and I will hold onto you forever and ever! Lauren Lane has a nice ring to it.”

She added, “PS he wrote me a song 😭 I linked in my bio for y’all. I can’t stop listening or looking down at my hand.”
The couple got engaged in West Linn, Oregon, where Bushnell is from.
Lane hinted that a proposal was coming in April while attending the Academy of Country Music Awards with his future fiancee. He told ET in an interview that he was “working on” a proposal plan.
“It’s been so easy, she makes me laugh so hard, we have so much fun together,” Lane added of their relationship. “She actually just moved her life from LA to Nashville, and I was a little nervous about that because I’m probably the cleanest person in the world and I thought to myself, ‘If she’s not … it could be a deal breaker in a way.’”
This will be the second engagement for Bushnell, who was previously planning a wedding to Bachelor Ben Higgins. The couple split in May 2017.
